    Christian Illmer joined ADVA Optical Networking in 2002 and has made a significant impact on the company's enterprise strategy. As senior director, enterprise application & solution management, Christian plays a critical role in developing Optical+Ethernet enterprise networks for some of the world's largest companies, including many of the Fortune 1000.

    Liaising with customers and partners on enterprise-specific solutions, Christian is responsible for effectively positioning ADVA Optical Networking's products in the marketplace, expanding the company's customer base and developing its position as a market leader. In this capacity, Christian helps to define and implement ADVA Optical Networking's sales and product strategy, ensuring effective development of business opportunities.

Prior joining ADVA Optical Networking, he worked for Pandatel AG and Intel, where he held various positions in Sales and Marketing, supporting and consulting global telecom equipment manufacturers with products for wireline and wireless applications.
