David Butler, CEO, TripleIC


David ButlerDavid Butler established IT consultancy firm Butler Cox from scratch, built it into a plc and in 1991 sold it at a multiple of its listed share value to a giant US corporation. He was instrumental in integrating the Istel division of the Rover Group with AT&T. He also served on the investment committee of the United Bank of Kuwait.

He was educated at Mill Hill School and at Keble College, Oxford, where he won an open scholarship in classics. He was the co-founder and chairman of Butler Cox plc and also launched IT research firm Butler Cox Foundation.

David led the British team that made a presentation on public communications media at the White House, Washington DC. He gave the annual BCS lecture at the House of Lords and was a member of the Roskill Committee which investigated the conduct of serious fraud trials. Today, he is also CEO of TripleIC, a company specialising in customer engagement.
